Love what irritates you

This post is based on the 49th chapter of the book 'The Greatness Guide' by Robin Sharma.

In fact, the things that really bother and seriously irritates you are great oportunities.

The people who drives you crazy are your biggest masters.

Be grateful for them.

Love them!

Do you know why?

Carl Jung said: "Everything that irritates us about others can lead us to an understanding of ourselves."

What a powerful point of view! I mean, for the ones who have the ability to take the positive aspects of any less good situation, the mistakes of the others are great tools for your self-improvement.

They're gifts that make you grow.

Use this challenges to increase your self-conscience.

The mistakes of the others can work like a light in the dark. As you start shedding the light above your personal weaknesses and assuming the responsibilities for them you start to see the process of their destruction. After exposed to the light, the shadows will begin to disappear.

You'll become a better person.

I totally agree with this magnificent thinker.

I've also learned to be mature with the immatures, to be pleasant with the unpleasant, to sing better with the ones who sing badly, to play better guitar with the ones who play badly, to play better basketball with the ones who play badly, to stop gossip with the ones who gossip, to quit lying with the ones who lie, to be more outgoing with the shy ones and to be funny with the ones who tell stupid and boring jokes.

the groovy Derek Trucks Band

A musician friend of mine told me that i had to see this band.

A band with an electric Gibson SG guitar played with a slide, keyboards, flute, percussion, drums and sometimes vocals.

It's a kind of a jam band, playing blues, southern rock, jazz, afro beats and a fusion of world music.

Here you have a great song from them, called 'Joyful Noise'.

It's a fruit and 50% of the US families eat atleast one per week.

Brazilians eat it with ice cream and Filipinos with milk and sugar.

It doesn't matter. What does matter is what is written below:

2012 (movie & more)

It's the best disaster film i've seen so far. In my opinion it goes beyond movies like 'The Independence Day', 'The Day After Tomorrow', 'Knowing', 'The Mist', 'I Am Legend or even 'War of the Worlds'.

160 minutes of pure adrenalin with breathtaking scenes, provided by the budget of 160000000 dolars.

Sometimes i wonder if the doomsday should really happen.
The Man is an egocentric and selfish creature and maybe he should bear the consequences of his deeds.

Ending or not the world, i believe some change is about to happend or start happening in December 2012. There's no smoke without fire, so after all the forecasts from well-known prophets, scientists, and all the mess the Mankind has been doing to the Mother Nature, something is about to happend, for sure.

Respect the Mother Nature before it's too late.

advice by own experience

i know it can be really hard, but try to not let teenage love affairs bring you down.

in the teenage, they will appear many times and you should know to handle them to avoid depressions or something like that.

you must realize that there's so much more in your life besides that.

i did, and i'm living much better now :)

"Strange Animals" no. 2

This month's strange animal is the Axolotl (Ambystoma mexicanum).

- it's a salamander that lives in Mexico City lakes.

- it's a critically endangered specie.

- "Axolotl" is a aztec name that means "water monster".

- in some countries this amphibian is kept as a pet. i saw it for sale in a pet's store in Lisbon.

- it is always smiling.

stressful society

Belive it or not, we live in a stressful society - a society full of stress.

When you try live your live righteously, when you try to take it easy, the society screams in your face: ' YOU'RE WRONG. YOU HAVE TO BE STRESSED ' .

Yeah, it is quite wrong, but it happens everyday. They're wrong and they require you to be wrong like them.

I've been passing so many times through this situation in the last several months.

... but it's the world i live in, so i can't do nothing but carrying on living and hoping that someday the world will change.

The Star-nosed mole (Condylura cristata) is, like the name says, just another mole, or maybe not...

It lives all around the undergrounds of north-eastern United States, and this fact is unknown by the majority of the population.

They eat lots of worms, molluscs and many other insects, with their 44 teeth !

And finally, as you can see, this mole's most distinctive feature is a circle of 22 mobile, pink, fleshy tentacles at the end of the snout that are used to identify food by touch.
